Policy

Class policies

Clear rules for scheduling, payment, and class time.

The goal of these policies is simple: make expectations clear before lessons begin and avoid confusion about cancellations, payment, unused time, and recordings.

This page summarizes class-specific policies. Shopify’s store-wide refund, privacy, terms, and contact policies are linked separately below.

Pay-As-You-Go & General Policy

These rules apply to Pay-As-You-Go lessons and general class arrangements unless a program states otherwise.

  • The scheduled class time is charged if you cancel with fewer than five hours’ notice.
  • Schedule changes sent by email or text are confirmed only after you receive a response.
  • Pay-As-You-Go class payments are non-refundable.
  • Recording a class is not permitted.

MyTeacher Policy

These rules apply to MyTeacher prepaid lesson time.

  • Payment is made in full before the program begins. If the requested arrangement cannot be made within two weeks, you receive a full refund.
  • After the first four hours of lesson time have been used, the assigned consultant cannot be changed.
  • The scheduled class time is charged if you cancel with fewer than five hours’ notice.
  • Schedule changes sent by email or text are confirmed only after you receive a response.
  • Unused lesson time expires at the end of the plan’s active period.
  • Recording is prohibited and may result in termination of the program without a refund.

If you are unsure which rule applies to your lesson plan, ask before making a change to your schedule.
