两年来，我一封一封地写信给编辑、律师、学者与民意代表。这个月，我要改变做法。我不再请大家“读”我的故事，而是请他们让我在他们的播客和频道上亲口讲，把文件放在屏幕上。

My name is Ross Cline. In 2019, during a dispute with my landlord in Taiwan, I posted my own signed lease online for two days. I do not dispute that. Taiwan enforces its privacy law criminally, and I was sentenced to six months in prison. I cannot read Chinese. Taiwan's own law required a court interpreter for me. Across four years, no interpreter was ever appointed and no document was translated. Taiwan's Supreme Prosecutors Office confirmed both facts in writing in December 2025, and in the same letter refused to reopen the case. My summons literally says: if you do not read Chinese, bring your own translator. My only interpreter was a chatbot. I now live in Phnom Penh, because going home means prison. I am not asking you to say a court was wrong. I am asking for thirty minutes on your show to walk through the documents. Everything is at rosscline.com/pages/press.
更正（2026年9月20日）。本视频是在我核对法院卷宗之前录制的，其中两点不够精确，媒体专页上为核对后的现行版本：法院认定的时间是2021年而非2019年；通译也并非完全缺失。部分庭期完全没有通译，其他庭期具结的通译依我所述只传译了所说内容的一小部分，诉讼文件则从未翻译。最高检察署对此未予争执；视频中"确认"一词言过其实。
